My Irish Art

I tried to send these photos to Micah twice, but they were too big for email. So I decided to place them on my blog. This is not how I wanted my art to be presented to the world. In my mind's eye these three photos were both elegant and perfectly centered. That's life. The thing is that I created these pieces and they turned out fairly well.

I am looking anxiously for a critique from Micah. I value his opinion on my creations. Besides, he is the only person that I will let critique my work and I will still talk to him afterwards. I think my art is improving as a result. So let her rip, M. J.

Rough Sketch

Hi,

This is a sketch that I did of Sheena, David's fiance. It's a rough of what she may have looked like had she ever worn a tutu and wings as a preschooler. I thought Sheena might appreciate a copy of it. The real one will be kept in my journal for posterity.

It caused quite a stir in the family. I've done one of these for all my children and grandchildren, and tradition dictates that the caricature be of a toddler.

I did it because I felt the need for some bonding with her before the wedding--planned for sometime in October? I think it was pretty good considering the fact that I had never met her. So get over it!
