The Mirror

Here is my masterpiece, the first wood-working project I ever did.

This is it au naturale.

This is it with a beveled mirror filling in the hole. It is resting in the guest room until I decorate the master bedroom in the apartment. Eventually it will make the big move to Cody.
Steven says that I have to make a budget up for my woodworking class and live with it. I asked why. After all, the frame of the mirror only cost me $23. You can hardly go to dinner for that price any more. He was insistent, saying that it only took me two weeks to finish. I informed him that it took me a month. But he reminded me that it had only been two weeks since the class started.
I guess I'll be making a budget. He also suggested that I mend a few of the pieces we have in the apartment. He further suggested that I go to yard sales and see what furniture I might find and repair for a nominal price. He's just full of dandy ideas.

It looks fabulous. I have always wanted to take a woodworking class.

I would love it if you did. Then you could make your own head board, coffee table, children's furniture, picture frames, and stuffed animals.
