Yes, I am definitely in the Christmas zone. I have been lighting scented candles, eating Christmas cookies, humming selections from Handle's Messiah, making gifts, and packing for quite some time. I have presents for pretty girls and candy for sweet kids. Tomorrow I leave for Wyoming.
Catch the logic of my itinerary: Since we will be spending Christmas with Micah's family, which loves in Springville, UT, it only makes sense that I should fly into Salt Lake. I will be arriving on Saturday anyway, and Tuesday is Christmas. Then Micah's family could pick me up at the airport. That would save us a lot of money over flying into Cody. Steve, who will be driving in from Cody on Sunday, could join us in Springville. Therefore, I am going to fly into Salt Lake, catch a connective flight to Cody, and drive in with him the next day. We really love to travel together.
I have already had a wonderful Christmas. I made up a list of the best gifts of the season. They include the bishopric joining the choir for Christmas (WOW!), David wanting us to get Sheena a gift instead of him (again WOW!), the Nativity display at the West Stake Center, and Bessie trying to make a great Christmas for everyone. I don't think it gets any better than this.
Merry Christmas to all!
